All our steering wheels are chassis-specific — each product page lists every compatible BMW model and year. If your chassis is on the fitment table, the wheel is plug-and-play. If you're unsure, WhatsApp us your VIN and we'll confirm within minutes.

For the vast majority of our wheels — no. Our F-Series and G-Series replacement wheels are direct plug-and-play replacements. No coding, no dealer visits, no warning lights. The only exception is adding heated steering wheel functionality to a car that didn't have it from the factory, which requires a coding session (available as an add-on).

Your original OEM airbag transfers directly to the new wheel. We do not sell or include airbags — your factory airbag stays in the car, connected exactly as before. This ensures full safety compliance and no airbag warning lights.

Yes — most mechanically confident owners can do it in 30-45 minutes with basic tools. Every wheel ships with a fitment guide. That said, because the airbag is involved, we strongly recommend professional installation if you're not comfortable working with SRS components. We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unused, uninstalled wheels in original condition. If there's a fitment issue or defect, we'll replace it at no cost. See our full returns policy here.
